Very unfriendly place. Upon entering we were greeted with frowns. We went to some empy seats of which there were many, but upon sitting down we were immediately told that these were seats for townspeople only. After being told that we decided to leave.

Quaint restaurant, nice host. Here there's traditionally chicken or Schnitzel, which are highly recommended!

A pure disaster. An unfriendly host. The prices were ok. That the products come from the region is incomprehensible. The cheese on the baked schnitzel was devinitively not from the region. The bow was spanned, as well as an expired beer (August 2018) came to us. An apology was nil.

Grumpy landlord, I wonder why he is plastering the whole Rheinsteig with advertising when guests generally point him out. The prices are as salted as the soups. The detour from the beautiful Rheinsteig to this restaurant is not worthwhile in my opinion.

On our Rheinsteig hike we (my wife and I) spent the night in Father's Day in Bornich and had dinner at the Rosenhof. Really highly recommended, very tasty and delicious, decent portion, good value for money. We both had rump steak which was fried to the point.
